Temperature monitoring

Every JD vehicle runs Coretex temperature monitoring. We don't just watch return air flow: wireless probes in every vehicle take core temperature readings too. Those readings are available to you and can be built into our proof of delivery.

Technology and process

We use the latest technology and a cold chain process tailored to each customer, so the integrity of your product is protected at every step, from the cold room to the truck to your receiver's dock.

Team focus

The best equipment in the world means nothing if the operator isn't qualified or doesn't care enough. Every JD team member trains regularly in cold chain management. We identify the critical control points for each job and train for them specifically.

Every load, step by step

  1. 1

    Probed at pick-up

The driver takes a core temperature reading with a wireless probe before your product goes on the truck.

  2. 2

    Watched the whole way

Coretex monitoring logs return-air temperature 24/7, and every vehicle is tracked live.

  3. 3

    Probed again at delivery

A second core reading on arrival, then a signed proof of delivery on glass, with photos if you need them.

  4. 4

    On record for you

Readings and PODs sit in your 24/7 online customer portal, ready for your own QA or an auditor.

Common questions

What is the difference between return-air and core temperature?

Return-air temperature is the air coming back to the refrigeration unit, which shows how the truck is performing. Core temperature is the temperature inside the product itself. We monitor both, so you know the product, not just the truck, stayed in spec.

Can I see the temperature readings for my load?

Yes. Readings are available to all our clients and can be included in the proof of delivery for each load.

How are your drivers trained?

Every JD team member trains regularly in cold chain management, and we give job-specific training on the critical control points identified for each customer.
